 Black and White To Satellite The History Of TV


No one could have dreamed back then, how far things would advance in a handful of decades, to the point that they are now. Satellites that rotate around the earth now beam down the programming that we watch and now when we watch the programming, we get to see alot more than a radio when we look. The first black and white TVs were veiwed as wonders of technology and could cost a family a whole months wages to buy and bring into their homes.

They gladly spent the money though, because the first programming that was on was the great entertainers that had come to TV from radio, where they had come to from vaudeville. Jack Benny, Milton Berle, Red Skelton and "The Great One" Jackie Gleason are just a few of the performers Dog Kennels Las Vegas kennel dogs kept the first TV viewers laughing with their side splitting antics. It was all live too, so no one was quite sure what was going to happen sometimes, even the entertainers themselves.

Over the next decades some of the programing that came along was less than an improvement but the technological improvements were all welcomed and made watching the TV more enjoyable and easier to do and also brought the cost of the TVs themselves down considerably. The first step up from black and white was color TV and it was quite an improvement. Everything was now far more realistic than in black and white. Some things like movies were far more enjoyable to watch in color. They trampled right through comunities, digging up their streets and yards and getting involved in political scandals with influence peddling in their struggles for territory to broadcast in. They were the only show in town though so everyone had to put up with their B.S.
